How to Download the JTET Admit Card

The exact screens can change on the JAC portal, so follow the on-screen instructions there. In general, the process is:

  • Visit the official JAC website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, on or after 15.10.2026.
  • Open the JTET 2026 admit card link shown on the homepage or in the notices section.
  • Enter the login or registration details you used while filling the JTET 2026 application form.
  • Check that your details are correct, then download the admit card as a PDF.
  • Take a clear printout — keep at least two copies and one soft copy on your phone.

Details to Check on Your Admit Card

  • Your name, roll number and other personal details.
  • The level you applied for (Class 1–5 or Class 6–8) — this decides your shift.
  • Your exam centre name and address, the date and the shift timing (9:30 AM or 2:00 PM).
  • Photograph and signature — they should be clearly visible.
  • The instructions printed on the admit card — read every line, including the list of prohibited items.

If anything is wrong, contact JAC through the official website as soon as possible instead of waiting for exam day.

What to Carry on Exam Day

Based on the JAC notice — also read the instructions on your own admit card.

Common Problems and What to Do

  • Link not working on 15 October: the portal can be slow on release day. Try again later or at off-peak hours, and only use the official JAC website.
  • Admit card not received at home: it is not posted at all. You must download it yourself from the JAC website.
  • Mistake in name, level or other details: inform JAC through the official website well before 1 November.
  • Printout is faint or the photo is unclear: print again on a good printer using a clear PDF, not a screenshot.
  • Divyang candidates needing a scribe: submit the disability certificate and application to the District Education Officer's office before the exam date. See our exam date page for the full process.
