- Visit the official JAC website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, on or after 15.10.2026.
- Open the JTET 2026 admit card link shown on the homepage or in the notices section.

Details to Check on Your Admit Card
- Your name, roll number and other personal details.
- The level you applied for (Class 1–5 or Class 6–8) — this decides your shift.
- Your exam centre name and address, the date and the shift timing (9:30 AM or 2:00 PM).
- Photograph and signature — they should be clearly visible.
- The instructions printed on the admit card — read every line, including the list of prohibited items.
If anything is wrong, contact JAC through the official website as soon as possible instead of waiting for exam day.
What to Carry on Exam Day
Based on the JAC notice — also read the instructions on your own admit card.
| Carry | Avoid |
|---|---|
| JTET 2026 admit card (clear printout) | Electronic devices of any kind (mobile phone, smartwatch, etc.) |
| Original photo ID (Aadhaar card, original copy) | Reaching late — the gate closes 30 minutes before the exam |
| Extra black/blue ballpoint pen | Anything not allowed as per your admit card instructions |
Reporting Time on Exam Day
- Reach the exam centre 2 hours before the exam starts — this is mandatory as per the notice.
- The main gate closes 30 minutes before the exam in both shifts. Late candidates will not be allowed to enter.
- Shift 1: exam at 9:30 AM, so reach by about 7:30 AM (gate closes at 9:00 AM). Shift 2: exam at 2:00 PM, so reach by about 12:00 PM (gate closes at 1:30 PM).
Common Problems and What to Do
- Link not working on 15 October: the portal can be slow on release day. Try again later or at off-peak hours, and only use the official JAC website.
- Admit card not received at home: it is not posted at all. You must download it yourself from the JAC website.
- Mistake in name, level or other details: inform JAC through the official website well before 1 November.
- Printout is faint or the photo is unclear: print again on a good printer using a clear PDF, not a screenshot.
- Divyang candidates needing a scribe: submit the disability certificate and application to the District Education Officer's office before the exam date. See our exam date page for the full process.
